06/04: Sarah Jane Carter
Fellow/Gal Morgan Researchers (this will be LONG)
I am working on something that I'd like to pass by you to see if any of you have run across any of this information in your research.
As we all know the whereabouts of James Milton Morgan and Sarah Jane Carter have remained a mystery to most of us - what we've had to go on has largely been Aunt Sallie's story, which I think is safe to assume, is made up of pieces of family history and lore passed on to her by her father, James Thomas Morgan, with Knighton history and lore passed on by her mother, Margaret Viola Knighton.

The names mentioned are prevelant in the James Thomas Morgan family so I thought I'd post this info here.
click here for one of the photos
It was found by Connie Lewis and she includes this information:
Date taken : 1930
I found this picture in Lancaster, Calif. Looking for owner - not sure but think it is Morgan. Very little info with them. 20 pic all total found in a wooden picture frame with family tree.
Mystery :
Very litle info with the photos. But I believe this is Aunt Helen, Uncle Warner and Mom.

04/03: Trillions of Ancestors?
Eastman's Online Genealogy Newsletter features an article today about the excavations that are underway at Stonehenge. The author inserts this bit of info that is worth sharing here:
"The odds of descent from a Stonehenge builder are overwhelming. Everyone has two parents, four grandparents, eight great-grandparents and so forth in a quickly expanding mathematical progression. If you go back 400 years, you have roughly 131,000 ancestors. If you go back to the time that Stonehenge is believed to have been created, about 4,500 years ago, you would theoretically have billions or trillions of ancestors.
NOTE: Those numbers assume that...
